Béatrice Perron holds a bachelor’s degree in ecology and microprogram diploma in practical ecology from the Université de Sherbrooke. She carried out internships in scientific popularization as well as in phytoprotection and bryology research. She then completed a master’s degree in plant biology during which she focused on the impact of nitrogen nutrition on the biological activity in soil and the nutritional quality of fruits for two organic greenhouse crops. She has developed experience in the greenhouse production of organic vegetables and organic fertilization. She is interested, among other things, in sustainable agricultural systems and plant ecology.
