Donald Bérubé holds a diploma in horticultural production and environmental technology with a specialization in fruit and vegetable production from the Institut de technologie agroalimentaire du Québec (ITAQ) in La Pocatière. He has owned a diversified organic vegetable production business for 10 years. He is also a maple syrup production enthusiast and has worked in this industry in the wintertime for many years, as he enjoys manual labour. His career as a vegetable farmer has instilled him with an eye for detail and keen observational skills, in addition to, evidently, extensive knowledge of the plant world and its particularities. Multitalented, curious and resourceful, he has many interests, from agricultural machinery to botany to food processing.
