Karine Bouchard, agr., M. Env., holds a bachelor’s degree in agronomy from Université Laval and a master’s degree in environmental science from Université de Sherbrooke. Her first professional experiences were in the agri-environment sector, after which she worked in ornamental horticulture as a technical and environmental analyst. As a research professional at Biopterre since 2013, Karine carries out various innovation and technology transfer mandates in the fields of horticultural bioproducts, innovative crops, environment techniques and agricultural recycling. As supervisor of the Biopterre’s horticultural activities, Karine oversees and coordinates the research activities of this division.
