Nicolas Gamache, engineer, holds a bachelor’s degree in agri-environment engineering from Université Laval and a technical college diploma in mechanical engineering. Throughout his career, he has held a variety of research and development roles such as designer, consultant and project manager. He worked, among others, from 2005 to 2008 for a manufacturing company in the 2nd and 3rd sectors of wood processing. Previously, he carried out a development project for a biopharmaceutical company focusing on a new generation of products designed to combat diseases. Mr. Gamache has been a teaching professor at the Institut de technologie agroalimentaire, La Pocatière campus in the horticultural production and environmental technology program since 2008. He works in the fields of water management and conservation of agricultural resources. He also acts as a technical advisor for Biopterre in various industrial bioproduct development mandates.
