By having this licence and by showcasing its strong expertise in the development and validation of bioproducts for agricultural purposes, CCTT Biopterre wishes to contribute to the development of the cannabis industry in Canada by becoming a reference in the optimization of plant cultivation among cannabis producers, and by supporting companies that develop bioproducts (biofertilizers, biopesticides and bio-inputs) for cannabis production. The main objective of this project is to study the impact of bioproducts traditionally used for growth enhancement of horticultural plants on cannabis production, and to assess their effects on trichome maturation and cannabinoid production in plant inflorescences. <span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p><p class=\"p1\">At the end of the project, it emerged that the source of the biostimulant had an impact on cannabinoids content, depending on the cannabis chemotypes being tested. In order to determine the maturity level of cannabis inflorescences in a non-destructive way, a method for taking and analyzing inflorescence images was developed.
