D. in cell and molecular biology from Universit\u00e9 Laval. His doctoral research focused on understanding pulmonary development and the mechanisms associated with emphysema in a mouse model. After his graduate studies, he held a position as a postdoctoral researcher at Universit\u00e9 du Qu\u00e9bec \u00e0 Montr\u00e9al (2014-2019), where he developed an interest in the molecular mechanisms involved in the development of certain rare genetic diseases. He then gathered some experience in laboratory management at the CHU de\u00a0Qu\u00e9bec Research Centre.
