From 1993 to 1997, he worked as a research professional at Universit\u00e9 Laval. After, he joined the Institut de technologie agroalimentaire, La\u00a0Pocati\u00e8re campus as a researcher in the sectors of rural engineering and agri-environment. He participated in the establishment of Biopterre and has since then worked in support of research teams in the field of good agricultural practices, harvesting and biomass conditioning. He is also a candidate representative of the Institut de technologie agroalimentaire for the Council of Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Canada (NSERC).
