Camille Charbonneau holds a diploma of college studies in horticultural production and environmental technology from the Institut de technologie agroalimentaire du Québec and a bachelor’s degree in environmental geography (physics stream) from Université de Montréal. Her work as a technician has included research and development as well as phytoprotection management for an ornamental plant nursery. She went back to school to complete a master’s degree in soil sciences at Université Laval, where she honed her expertise in precision agriculture for fertilization. Her background in both agronomy and geomatics is an asset for the optimization of agricultural operations and has equipped her with a skillset suited for a variety of development opportunities in agriculture and forestry.
