Electrical engineer (ÉTS) and physical engineering technologist (Cégep de La Pocatière), Mr. Jean-Sébastien Castonguay, worked as a software engineer for more than 10 years prior to his involvement in college education. During this period, Mr. Castonguay participated in the development of various embedded systems ranging from avionics systems developed in compliance to strict standards (DO178B) through various Linux controllers in the rail sector. Currently at the department of physical engineering technology at the Cégep de La Pocatière, Mr. Castonguay teaches electronics with a focus on microcontrollers, and is continuously involved in several research projects at Solutions Novika and Biopterre.
