Viviane Bao Vy Lam, Ph. D., holds a state diploma in pharmacy from the University of Medicine and Pharmacy at Ho Chi Minh City (Vietnam), a master’s in pharmacochemistry and molecular pharmacology from Université de Paris Descartes (France) and a Ph. D. in medicinal chemistry from Université de Caen Normandie (France). Her doctoral thesis focused on the synthesis of potential radioligands of central serotonin receptors for use in imaging. She then worked on a number of projects researching new drugs, including for the treatment of pancreatic cancer and metabolic disorders. Through her seven years of laboratory experience, she has acquired expertise in the organic synthesis and analytical chemistry of organic compounds. She joined our Smart Cultures team in March 2023. Since then, she has worked on developing and improving methods for biopharming and in vitro culture and the analysis of resulting molecules of interest.
