Catherine completed a bachelor’s degree in biology with a concentration in biotechnologies and a master’s and Ph. D. in biochemistry at Université du Québec à Montréal. She also holds an advanced graduate diploma in business administration from Université Laval. During her doctoral studies, she studied the biochemical reactions that take place within living beings, with a focus on their development phase. Catherine has many years of experience in the field of academic research and is now interested in the use of fungi in a therapeutic context, among other things.
