Séraphine Dupont completed a Master of Science in Engineering at the Institut Meurice in Bruxelles. Specializing in fermentation biotechnology and industries, she developed a system for continuous propagation of brewer’s yeasts at the University of Munich during her thesis work. Séraphine has 15 years of industrial work experience, in both laboratories and plants, in a variety of sectors such as food, brewing and water treatment. In particular, she worked as a quality manager at a company that produces ferments for the brewing industry, before joining the Biopterre team in January 2022. Séraphine is interested in the various applications of fermentation processes and helps carry out projects within the Mycotechnology unit.
